The Doorways’ mission is to provide lodging and support for patients and their loved ones who need to be close to the hospital but not far from the feeling of home.
The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) offers compassionate care to all those grieving the loss of a loved one who died while serving in our Armed Forces or as a result of his or her service. Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24/7 through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.
Roanoke Marine Corps Mud Run
5k Marine MudRun at GreenHill Park fundraiser put on by the Roanoke Marine Corps League for Toys-4Tots Org & Camp Roanoke every 3rd Saturday in September.
GRASP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable, college-access organization that assists students and families in obtaining funding for post-secondary education. GRASP Financial Aid Advisors help students and families with financial aid and scholarships so students can make their higher education goals a reality.

Five-O’s Tiki Foundation
The Five-O’s Tiki Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, provides a resource for funding community and law enforcement programs. The Foundation makes disbursements to benefit underprivileged children through programs such as police athletic leagues, law enforcement explorer programs, youth citizen police academies and the Shop with a Cop initiative. In addition, the Foundation fully funds or supplements the cost of safety equipment, canine equipment, technology items and provides donations to local and national law enforcement agency Foundations and Memorial Funds.
Feed More collects, prepares and distributes food to our neighbors through its programs and Network of Agencies. Feed More’s Hunger Hotline connects people with resources for food and other assistance, its Kids Café provides meals for children in after-school programs and its Mobile Pantry distributes an abundance of food for wholesome meals to underserved communities.
Dream Catchers at the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center improves the quality of life for individuals with physical, emotional and developmental needs by providing evidence-based therapeutic riding, equine assisted activities and advancing effective practices through professional education and research.
