Colonial Downs® Kicks Off 21 Days of Racing in 2021

New Kent, VA – July 15, 2021 – Thoroughbred horse racing returns to New Kent county on Monday, July 19 as Colonial Downs Group enters its 3rd year of racing in the Commonwealth. Races will take place every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday with $500,000 in daily purses for seven weeks ending on September 1. Post time each day will be at 1:45. General admission and parking are free and reserved grandstand seating starts at just $5. Tickets are on sale now at www.colonialdowns.com.
Fans can look for special free giveaway promotions on July 19, July 27, August 3, August 18 and August 24. The New Kent County Virginia Derby will be featured on Tuesday, August 31.
Bets can be placed at the track, at any Rosie’s Gaming Emporium® location in Virginia and at Virginia Horseplay locations.
