9/11 Exhibit Press Conference Wednesday Morning (October 20)

Rosie’s Gaming Emporium® in Richmond will honor 9/11 victims and the families who survive them from October 20 through October 25. A press event (details below) will begin at Rosie’s at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 20 and will include remarks and patriotic music.
WHO: Speakers will include Richmond City Councilman Mike Jones, Tunnel to Towers representative Billy Puckett & Rosie’s General Manager Chy Stewart. Honor Guards representing first responders from Richmond, Chesterfield, Hampton and Roanoke will present colors and Mervin Mayo will sing the national anthem.
WHAT: A high-tech, 83-foot tractor-trailer, which transforms into a 1,100 square foot exhibit. The memorial provides interactive education; including artifacts such as steel beams from the towers, documentary videos, and recordings of first responder radio transmissions. The 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit is a tool to further educate people across the country about the events of that tragic day.
