While at VSU B Sounds tutored the youth in Petersburg Public Schools. Did Habitat for Humanity and did numerous amounts of community service projects. He joined Radio One INC in 2004 and spent 14 years working for 92.1FM, 105.7 FM and 104.7 FM. In 2012, he started B Sounds Productions LLC. He has DJ’ed all over the East Coast, fed the homeless and put on 2 fashion shows where he donated a portion of the proceeds to The Children’s Hospital.

In 2017, B Sounds joined 101.1 The Fam at ourdigitalradio.com and became a co-owner. Today, he continues to DJ full time in Richmond City, Henrico, Chesterfield and Petersburg Public Schools. “I love entertaining people with my music and energy.”

Rocky 7 is a Virginia-based electro-Rock band with a sound driven by electronica, Hip Hop back beats, and hypnotic guitar riffs. The band who is the performing entity of Songwriter/Production duo D*Nik is the creation of CT born lead vocalist Nik Madry and BK producer Duane Smith who collaborated to create a conduit for their industrial sound. Inspired by Euro-electronica, Rock, and classic Hip Hop; haunting melodies meet addictive beats to create a hybrid of artistry and commerciality without the bubble gum pop of commercial music.

The duo who counts Kimbra, the Foo Fighters, Santigold, and N.E.R.D. as musical influences is backed by a 5 piece band including 2 guitars, bass, drums, and keys which drive the studio produced records.

DJ PlayDAT hales from Emporia, VA however comes with a ton of experience as a DJ as an attendee of the Scratch Academy in Miami, Florida and New York. The Krewe is an eight-member band based out of Richmond, Virginia. Performing since 1996, The Krewe delivers musical selections from the funk, pop, jazz, and rap and blues genres. Inspired by acclaimed artists such as The Temptations, Bruno Mars, and Earth, Wind & Fire, The Krewe is a refreshing drink of soulful water. On stage, there are three vocalists, a guitarist, a bassist, a keyboardist, a drummer, and a percussionist.
