The members of Dance Candy are among the leaders of the influential and tight-knit Richmond VA music scene. This band features an unstoppable charisma from male and female vocalists, incredible chops from a dynamic rhythm section, and sizzling trumpet energy that takes every crowd to party band dreamland.

The band serves up each song with a signature sound that’s all their own. Their vocals are sexy and soulful while trumpets trade licks with lead guitar solos, and the whole band puts plenty of funk in the beat. Dance Candy rocks out party anthems till the glow sticks are waving and the crowd is on fire. They read the room, follow the lead and take the party where it needs to go. When it’s time to slow things down for a minute, they’re ready with a romantic ballad to mellow the mood.

The Krewe is an eight-member band based out of Richmond, Virginia. Performing since 1996, The Krewe delivers musical selections from the funk, pop, jazz, and rap and blues genres. Inspired by acclaimed artists such as The Temptations, Bruno Mars, and Earth, Wind & Fire, The Krewe is a refreshing drink of soulful water. On stage, there are three vocalists, a guitarist, a bassist, a keyboardist, a drummer, and a percussionist.

Since Bobcat Goldthwait’s first appearance on the David Letterman Show at the age of 20, he has gone on to maintain a thriving career as a writer, director, actor, voice actor and stand-up comedian. As a comedian, Bobcat has starred in numerous HBO/Showtime specials, performed in venues all over the world, and even went on tour as an opening act for the Band: Nirvana. Well known for his roles in “Scrooged” with Bill Murray and as Zed in the “Police Academy” franchise, Goldthwait has gone on to become a well-respected Award-Winning Director. His Directorial works include Television (Jimmy Kimmel, Chappell’s Show, Community, Maron, Those Who Can’t), feature films (World’s Greatest Dad starring Robin Williams, Willow Creek starring Bigfoot, God Bless America, Windy City Heat, and Sleeping Dogs Lie) and documentaries (Call Me Lucky and Joy Ride). In addition to being a 4x Sundance Alumni, Goldthwait’s films have played internationally including Deauville Film Festival and San Sebastian Film Festival. Bobcat has been honored with the German Independent Honorary Award at Oldenburg Film Festival for his collective works. Bobcat has also directed numerous standup comedy specials (Patton Oswalt, Marc Maron, Ron Funches, Iliza Shleshinger, Mo Willems, Gary Gulman, Hari Kondabolu, Eugene Mirman) and is currently working on converting his critically acclaimed documentary “Call Me Lucky” into a narrative film with Judd Apatow. Also in development, is an original Narative called “The Banishers” with QC Entertainment. After fleeing Los Angeles, he now lives somewhere in the woods in Illinois with his girlfriend, Nora Muhlenfeld, and their 5 cats: Anderson Coopurr, Alice Coopurr, Tina Sparkle, Bruce Wayne and Robert Smith.

Calden & Company consists of 4 professional musicians and one professional vocalist, who is Calden Moye’. She is also a songwriter who wrote 13 songs on her CD “I’ve Come Too Far”.

The song “You Should Have Been In Church Instead of Cheating on Me”, won her a grammy nomination in the R&B category. Calden performed the song at the Apollo, in Harlem, NY

She was signed to a recording label in Frankfurt, Germany and Virginia Beach, VA.

Her musical inspiration comes from various artists such as Betty Wright, Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Anita Baker and Whitney Houston. Calden & Company has been successful in performing for different audiences and creating a following. Audiences are excited and filled with that “wow factor” after seeing Calden and Company show.

Calden performed with various artists like Kim Waters, Roy Ayers, SILK, Crystal Waters, Keith Wonder Boy Johnson, Damon Little, Impressions, and rap legend Kurtis Blow.

Before joining forces with Pat Balder, Glen Everhart was a successful musical comedian in the national corporate market. He performed over 1,200 shows across the country and into Canada and Mexico.

After finishing his B.S. in guitar and vocal performance, Glen spent 3 years teaching music before his performing career quickly took over his full-time professional calendar.

Glen has sold over 30,000 CD’s of original music and over 10,000 downloads. His music has been featured on the Today Show, Britain’s Got Talent, ESPN, and The Golf Channel.

When not on the road, Glen lives with his wife of 30 years and obsesses about fishing, golfing, fitness, and caring for his two dogs.

Before joining forces with Glen Everhart, Pat Balder was a veteran frontman and guitarist in successful, national corporate rock bands. Prior to that, Pat was signed to Polygram Records and Publishing where he honed his craft as an original artist, producer, and bandleader. After departing Polygram, Pat built a recording studio and production company through which he independently released 7 CD’s of original music, produced numerous albums for other artists, and wrote and produced corporate and commercial music for the likes of Target, Harley Davidson, 3M, Sun Country and others.

Pat has a B.A. in Music (guitar and vocal performance), and a Master’s degree in Songwriting.

Pat also taught Songwriting and Production courses at St. Thomas University in St. Paul, MN for 8 years, where he also created the Music Business major and Recording Arts minor.

When not on the road, Pat hangs with his wife and three kids, travels, watches movies, and dreams of a guitar tone with sweet, spongy sustain for days.
