Colonial Downs Group will host a grand opening celebration at Rosie’s Gaming Emporium in Vinton this Friday, June 7, 6:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. The festivities will include disc jockey entertainment, free t-shirts and drawings for free plays.
There will be a series of lucky winner drawings starting at 6:00 p.m., including five winners of free play for a year. Players will want to arrive early as the first 100 people to arrive starting at 6:00 p.m. will receive a free grand opening t-shirt. DJ Boomer with WSLC-FM 94.9 Star Country will be playing music from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. to welcome guests.
Ernie Dellaverson, Rosie’s Vinton General Manager, stated, “We have enjoyed a fantastic first month of operations and this is our way of thanking our new neighbors and the community that has been so supportive of our efforts to bring a new form of gaming and entertainment as well as live satellite horse race wagering to Vinton.”
Rosie’s Vinton is open weekdays 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m., and weekends 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 am. Players must be 18 years of age or older.
