Second Round of Colonial Downs OTB Handicapping Series Set For Saturday March 14.

Attention Horseplayers! Be sure to enter Saturday’s (March 14) FREE handicapping contest at the 4 VA-Horseplay OTBs at Breakers Sports Grille (Henrico), Ponies & Pints (Richmond), Buckets Bar & Grill (Chesapeake) and The Windmill OTB Sports Grill (Collinsville), and at Rosie’s Gaming Emporium at New Kent.
Fill out an entry before 3 PM. Win your share of $100 at each site and accumulate contest points for a chance to win bigger prizes. The top 10 cumulative point earners will win a free entry valued at $550 into the Colonial Downs Handicapping Classic August 15 at New Kent when the MATCH (Mid Atlantic Championship) Series will be held. Contest races on Saturday will include the 5th thru 7th at Laurel and the 7th thru 10th at Oaklawn, which will host the $1 million Rebel Stakes. In all, 5 of the 7 contest races are stakes.
*Laurel Race 5 (at 3:13 PM) – $100,000 Nellie Morse Stakes
*Laurel Race 6 (at 3:42 PM) – $45,000 Allowance Optional Claiming
*Laurel Race 7 (at 4:12 PM) – $100,000 Beyond The Wire Stakes
*Oaklawn Race 7 (4:44 PM) – $92,000 Allowance Optional Claiming
*Oaklawn Race 8 (5:07 PM) – $350,000 Essex Handicap
*Oaklawn Race 9 (5:50 PM) – $350,000 Azeri Stakes
*Oaklawn Race 10 (6:23 PM) – $1 Million Rebel Stakes
