Plan Your Day At The Races
Live racing is back for the 2023 season every Thursday, Friday & Saturday now through September 9.
We are dedicated to helping you plan and enjoy an unforgettable day of horse racing excitement. Racing is open to fans of all ages, every Saturday is Family Day! Parking is free and gates will open at 12PM. First post is 1:30PM with live racing ending at approximately 5:45PM.
Outside chairs, blankets, loungers, coolers are all prohibited.
PREMIUM SEATING
Sky Suites
Luxury suites accommodating up to 28 guests. Pre-order food and bar service to suit your groups’ needs. Includes daily Colonial Downs live racing programs. Contact [email protected] to book.
Jockey Club
Indoor, air-conditioned seating. Ticket includes buffet and daily live racing program. Beverage menu and service will be provided for an additional fee. Tables for two, four, and eight available. Entire table must be purchased.
The Jockey Club restaurant has a buffet menu featuring: Salads, Event Favorites, Sweets and more!

1609 Turf Club
Indoor, air-conditioned seating. Ticket includes a premium view, balcony access, and daily live racing program. A la carte restaurant service and beverage menu will be provided for an additional fee. Tables for two and four available. Entire table must be purchased.

Grandstand Boxes
Covered, outdoor box in the Grandstands. Ticket includes daily live racing program. Ticket pricing does not include food or beverage service, but concessions will be available for your convenience.
Grandstand Boxes | $60-150 + fees

Grandstand Reserved
Covered outdoor seating with tickets starting for as low as $5. Ticket does not include food or beverage service, but concessions will be available for your convenience.
Grandstand Reserved | $5 + fees

General Admission
- Parking & General Admission are FREE every day.
- General Admission includes apron access with track-side and paddock-side viewing.
- Covered seating is limited.
- Outdoor concessions will be available.
- Entrance to General Admission is through the front gate near the paddock.

Food and Drinks
We’re excited to announce Colonial Downs has partnered with a new food and experience provider this season, Oak View Group!
Highlights include an outdoor Grab & Go marketplace concept with vendors including:
The Sausage Guy: Sausage, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders and fries
CM Concessions: Freshly squeezed lemonade, cotton candy, fresh popcorn.
Shake It Up: Milkshakes, etc.
Bavarian Pretzels: Pretzels and cheese.
The Jockey Club restaurant has a new Chef’s Table buffet menu & the 1609 Turf Club features a bistro-style menu.
