OUTRAGEOUSLY RIDES THREE-RACE WIN STREAK INTO $100,000 LOVE SIGN STAKES AT COLONIAL DOWNS; WATCH THE ARLINGTON MILLION DRAW LIVE SATURDAY

NEW KENT, Va. (July 23, 2026) — Outrageously has exceeded every expectation since arriving in Jordan Blair’s barn, and the in-form mare will try to continue her remarkable rise Saturday when she takes on seven rivals in the $100,000 Love Sign Stakes at Colonial Downs.

Tabbed as the 3-1 second choice on the morning line behind favored Anakarina, Outrageously enters the six-furlong stakes for older fillies and mares riding a three-race winning streak. Claimed by Blair after her first start, the 5-year-old mare has found her best form at Churchill Downs, where six of her seven career victories have been recorded.

“She’s going to ship to Colonial Thursday night,” Blair said. “She’s doing good. It’s her distance. She’s won all of her races between six and seven furlongs, so I’m excited.”

Owned by Craig Peerenboom, Outrageously has earned more than $325,000 after being claimed for $15,000. Her latest victories came in back-to-back allowance races at Churchill Downs, including a neck victory over fellow Love Sign entrant Going Steady on May 29 and a 2½-length triumph at 6½ furlongs on June 28.

“I never thought we’d be in a position like this with her,” Blair said. “The owner picked her out, and she’s turned into a really nice filly.”

Blair, who spent three meets stabled at Colonial Downs, is no stranger to success in New Kent. He saddled Oceanic to victory in the 2022 Da Hoss Stakes and will be on hand Saturday seeking another stakes score.

Outrageously will leave from post 8 under Jareth Loveberry, a draw Blair believes gives his rider valuable options in the early stages.

“I like an outside post because our rider can see what everybody else is doing,” Blair said. “She likes to be covered up behind horses or sitting just outside of them.”

The Love Sign attracted a competitive field of eight, including Going Steady, who rebounded from her narrow loss to Outrageously with a rallying seven-furlong allowance victory at Churchill Downs on June 20. Trained by Robert Medina for Newtown Anner Stud Farm, Going Steady drew post 2 and will be ridden by Jorge Ruiz.

Saturday’s nine-race card at Colonial Downs also features the inaugural $100,000 Yorktown Stakes, led by Barbadian Runner and Vibe. The Yorktown is Race 7, followed by the Love Sign as Race 8. First post is 12:30 p.m. ET.

The draw for the Grade 1 Arlington Million can be watched live following the fourth race Saturday at approximately 2 p.m. ET on the Colonial Downs simulcast feed as entries are finalized for the 2026 Colonial Downs Festival of Racing. The Saturday, Aug. 1 program will feature eight stakes worth $2.6 million in purses, led by the Arlington Million along with the Grade 2 $500,000 Beverly D. and Grade 2 $500,000 Secretariat. All three marquee events will be contested over the Secretariat Turf Course.

Festival Day also includes five supporting stakes: the $100,000 Reigh Count, the $100,000 Petramalo Mile, the $100,000 Tyson Gilpin, the $150,000 Van Clief and the $150,000 Andy Guest.
